South Bank Saved At Last and Mike Shinoda Exclusive DC shoes!

Boy, it has been quite this week. There are really any massive bombastic things that we can put up here lately. Anyway, here are two good stories.

South Bank which has been threatened by redevelopment has managed to survive the catastrophe. Thanks to the skateboarding community as well as the producer of the video, "Save Southbank". Remember that video? We posted the link here before. For those of you who don't know what was going on, "Save Southbank" is a free documentary video produced by independent skateboarders to create awareness among the public as well as the top government figures on how redevelopment of South Bank can affect the relationship of skateboarders as well as the nature of human being to interact with each other, in the city of London, where massive commercialization has taken place. Congratulations!

Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park in collaboration with DC shoes, produced a collection of shoes, in which inspired by Mike Shinoda. The shoes are part of DC remix collection. Extra laces and a booklet, containing some of Mike Shinoda art work will be given for every purchase. Next time we see Linkin Park's concerts, make sure Mike wear those shoes!

Nike Dunk Low Olympic 2008, Bape Nintendo, Ferrari Skateboards

Check out exclusive Nike Dunk Low featuring this year olympic mascot, "Jing Jing" the Panda. This kicks are furry just like the animal and you can grab them at kix-files or nearest Nike stores.

Ryan Sheckler broke his arm 4 days before the highest paying skateboarding competition which pays USD 100,000 for the winner. Sheckler suffered multiple fractures.


Guerilla Store in Los Angeles produced special decks on 10th July to celebrate COMME des GARCONS. With these designs, we don't think it will hit the streets. Better stick it on the walls.
