Get Converse Kurt Cobain, Nike Orange Dragon, Zoo York Ghost Face Killah Collab, Wild Channel Boards, Nike Nothing But The Truth Review

Ok, lets start our story today by a pair of shoes dedicated to grunge guru and the highest earning royalty dead artist, Kurt Cobain. What's so special about this pair of shoes is that, it is believe the moment before Kurt kill himself by shooting his head using a shotgun (I know there is a theory that says Kurt was killed, but never mind), he was wearing a pair of Converse Black One Star's, and this year, as part of Converse Century Music Collection, Converse will be releasing four Kurt Cobain shoes and it is believed that they will be replicas for the one that Kurt wore.

The 'Punk rock means freedom' written on the sole is also believed the words written by Kurt at his Converse On Star Sole too. And as for the Kurt Cobain signature, hurm, we guess it is written by the company. Expect it to be release on the June 2008. We wonder what would happen if Kurt is still alive today. More legendary, ever green songs perhaps?



Nike will be releasing dragon inspired shoes (look at those scales) and they are orange in colour! Why dragon? Chinese New Year is just couple of days ahead and kids surely will buy cool sneakers which at the same time, represent their heritage. Will be available for grabs at Limited Edt in Singapore. Awesome! Fresh design!

While Riyaz, one of Malaysia skateboarding heroes, quits Shut Up skateboarding company and his skateboarding magazine company this week.

Wild Channel skateboarding boards? Apologize us for being late to bring this news to you guys. Yup, you here it right, Wild Channel has its own boards now.

We were excited to see these boards since the board graphics are astonishing in terms of design and quality. Something that can be proud of and definitely they are not DIY (Do It Yourself) products. With these kinds of designs it is impossible to DIY.

Whatever it is, bravo to Wild Channel for bring in quality boards on par with other major international brands and thank you for bringing style to our local skateboarders!



It is rumoured that pro-skater Christian Hosoi will be collaborate with Disney to make skate products, targeting young's. Expect Disney characters too but since it is unconfirmed yet, better wait and see.

Have you treat yourself with Nike's Nothing But The Truth Video dear skateboarders? Hey, we just get the DVD today and we can say, we are satisfied with this video. It is really different from other skate videos. The DVD story line looks like this. The Nike SB team is bought to a deserted place. At there, they are giving freedom to direct a short movie, reflecting them. And during the shooting, there will be videos of them skating (somewhere else of course). Anyway, at the end, there are no videos that they were supposed to shoot and direct at all. We just see them doing crazy stuff, jokes etc during the production and shooting. Who cares right? This is a skate video and we want to see them skating. Well in this DVD, we think Chet Childrees and Omar Salazar shine more than others. As for conclusion, we umusu would say that this video is worth to buy and watch.

Guys at Converse will be releasing Converse Skateboarding. Seriously, we have never seen any Converse shoes dedicated to skateboarding before. The Converse Skateboarding ads which feature Converse One Star, for us, is not really a skateboarding shoe at all, more like casual shoe. And we guess, Converse does not focus on skateboarding industry, that why they are not so famous in skateboarding. Or is it because we neglect them? Lol.

Apple has introduced Macbook Air, world's thinnest notebook in the history (during the time of writing)! With less than 1 inch thick, weight around 3 pounds, glossy 13.3 inch windscreen LCD with 1280 X 800 resolution and full size keyboard equipped with black lit key illumination, it is indeed and engineering marvel!

Forget about the ordinary track pad, this Macbook air adopt the same technology used in iPhone and iPod touch which means, you can now use your gesture input to rotate, zoom, pinch etc.

Expected to sell at around RM6000 but wait, since it is new, better wait for reviews. When things get thinner, more features will be taken off too. And for the keyboard, since it so thin, we guess you will not get the strong confident feeling when you are typing on your keyboard right now. Whatever it is, we better keep our mouth shut since we have not even touch it. Sure thing is, it is equipped by non replaceable battery. Sigh.

A shocking collection of pictures were posted in WanKedah skate forum, a major forum for Malaysia skaters to gather around and posts anything skate related (and not)..

Actually we, umusu does not want to bring down others by bringing news that can eventually, put down public perception on them or the company. Nevertheless, the point in this news is media equality.

In one skate magazine, it is written and claimed that the boards are made from a secret factory and use America woods. But actually, it is not a factory at all and all the paintings etc is done manually. From the post also, we were told that they actually use grade C China woods. Whatever it is, we can not confirm or condemn anyone without any scientific or tracking research.

The point is, dear writers, please wrote the truth or just leave it unknown to the public, no exaggerating please.
