Yes, Finally, the ordered via online, ipod classic 80gb has finally arrived in front of our doorstep and guess what? It has been traveling from Hong Kong China but miraculously arrived in one piece.

The ipod classic is a sexy black. Some people may say, it is not an ipod unless it is black. Hurm, originally, white has been associated with Mac products, but after the iPhone has been revealed to the world, we can say all the perceptions has changed and Macs no longer bound to the white signature.

Upon the opening of the ipod classic 80gb casing, you will straight away see this tiny sexy invention. Below you will get a simple compressed manual, a headphone, a some kind of white thing, and a USB connector. The bad things are, the manual given is not adequate for newbies and you have to visit the web for the extended version. And the are no CD given for iTunes. You have to download the application from the internet which is about 50mb in size. Man, that really hurts because your excitement need to be halted for a while for the download and installation. One more thing is, there is no plug recharger. You need to charge from your computer USB. Full charge can take up to 4 hours and in that case, your computer need to be turned up for 4 hours too. What a waste of energy if you want to charge your ipod overnight.

Anyway, ipod classic 80gb is a blast. The screen is ok and although the size is the biggest in the latest ipod family, hey you got 80gb and the navigation is impressive due to large buttons. Kudos to ipod classic 80gb.



Panorama deck is out with very limited quantity. Grab em at Miz29 skate shops at Singapore and Sungei Wang Plaza. Because of the the very limited number of this deck produced, we guess you better just buy, put in a showcase box and show it to the later generations.

'80GB Ipod? No Thanks, Get Touch Instead', Usher Good Moves, Procupine Cap, Miz29 Relocation, Toypunks DVD, Force Of Love, And Skate Competitions

Whats up? This update we will start with something with got nothing to do with street culture but this thing got something to do with street trends. It is about Ipod. One of our team here wanted to express his distatisfaction over the overly priced Ipod Classic that he planned to buy since his mp3 collection is around 20GB and it will increase since he is an audiophile.

You see, the Ipod got nothing to do with his distatisfaction. It is not about the quality, size etc but is about the price the authorized dealer put at. Our boy here spend a lot of time reviewing, asking and comparing lots of mp3 players. From Zune to Ipod touch to Meizu. After he did his research and conclude that Ipod Classic is the bomb and cost him about RM1000 for 80gb model, he decided to hit it at one of Ipod authorized dealer at Ipoh. Guess what? The Ipod classic price tag is RM1500!

Compared to unauthorized dealer, it cost more, around 50% more. One more thing, when he browsed the pamplet, the pampled says that the ipod classic have 2 sizes, 30GB and 80GB. Blarg, this shows that the so called authorized dealer is selling 5th generation Ipod when that day, the 6th generation have been releases, having 2 cool sizes, 80GB and 160GB.

The problem is, the new Ipod 6th generation 80GB cost around RM1200 and this authorized dealer is selling 5th generation 80Gb Ipod for RM1500. Thank God he is wise and walked off cool from the shop.

Maybe in his genius brain is saying, RM1500 80GB Ipod? No thanks, better to take Ipod Touch which is around that margin. Authorized dealer? Better update your stuff and see the market price.

Skateboarding and Malaysia Tourism Industry

Yesterday we receive an email from Germany. Guess what, a german skateboarder asked us direction to nearby skateshop. So we gave him address to Zone 5 skateshop located at Berjaya Time Square. The point is, we wonder, did he came all the way from Germany to checkout the skateboarding scene in Malaysia? It is really an eye opener. From our observation, the government does not really give priority to skateboarding in tourism industry. Yes it may sound ridiculous, maybe we should give a try?

Taiping Skate Competition, Tony Larson Favourite Boards

A happening event especially for skaters will be held at Kompleks Sukan Rakan Muda, Kamunting, Taiping, Perak these 1st and 2nd December 2007, organized by Kementeriaan Belia dan Sukan (we guess, who else?) and the time is 10AM to 6PM. Registration fee is RM5.00 per head and opens from 3PM to 6Pm for Friday and from 8AM to 10AM for Saturday.

There are 2 categories, Park and Best Trick. There will be 3 winners for Park and 1 winner only for Best Trick. RM800 for 1st prize, RM400 for 2nd and RM250 for 3rd and everybody will get a certificate.

On 29th September 2007, Sole What? was officially opened and there was a party held for celebrating the first sneakers specialist shop in Malaysia which will be selling the all time famous sneakers makers such Nike, Adidas, New Balance etc.

For those of you who do not know about What The Dunk, What The Dunk is a skate boarding movie done by the Nike group featuring the Nike SB riders. Whatever it is, Umusu crew do check up eBay and found lots of Nike What The Dunk shoes being auctioned. Some of the sellers do claim that they are selling the originals. Hurm, original fake? So, just hold on and wait for official words from Nike.
