Staple releases their brand new line ups for autumn and winter collection 2007, featuring education theme which we do not really get it anyway. Staple produces new fresh designs for shirts, jackets, denim, hoodies, crewnecks, knitwear and accessories. Talking about style and quality, these collections used cut and sew and the quality is superb and high level. Where to get it? Umusu crew have not yet found a stockist for the Malaysian market. But from our sources, they may hit our market soon, so stay tune!

Comp-Raid and Concepts collaborated to produce exclusive t-shirt to pay tribute to the Boston hip hop legend, Edo G. This t-shirt features Edo G face on Adidas inspired rectangle design.

“I decided to roll with someone that is legendary in terms of Boston hip-hop… nah, f**k that, hip-hop in general, Edo G. Edo G. dropped his first album in 1991 called Life of a Kid in the Ghetto, when he was still ED O.G. and rolled with the Bulldogs. You remember the joints “I Got to Have it” , “Be A Father To Your Child” and “Bug-A-Boo” (which Destiny’s Child went on to later steal).

As a kid, seeing someone that was where I was from on YO! MTV Raps was so inspiring. He represented for us and now we represent for him. Ed is now a member of the Boston hip-hop group Special Teamz that has recently signed with Duck Down Records (home of Boot Camp Click) which includes Slaine from La Coka Nostra.”

We do not have any information regarding the person who said these lines but anyway, this t-shirt will be available at the Concepts store at the end of September 2007.

KIKS TYO Releases rare 25th anniversary G-shock watches in collaboration with G-Shock, New Balance & Aki Hoshino which are three strong names in watch, sports and Japan entertainment industries. This so called G-Flash Pack is sold world wide and those interested in this rare piece of collection can grab it at http://www.kikstyoshop.com

Hot news for sneakers freaks! Nike is planning to distribute the new Nike SB Blaze Low featuring a Leather/Velvet upper with a Vintage Cracked Leather Swoosh on December 2007. No more details about this pair of kicks so keep your eye on it.

On the other hand, Puma, inspired by the Chinese Moon Festival (Mid Autumn Festival) which is celebrated every 15th August in the Lunar Calendar, released super limited edition Puma Moon Festival Clydes on Sept 15th in Japan mita sneakers, with inly 242 pair of sneakers available to be grabbed. Worry not, these sneakers are also distributed world wide but like usual, they are hard to find. Moon Lady, the main character in the story, is embroiled at the shoe heels and there are Chinese characters at the side of the shoes, which you can see at the picture above. Lastly, there is a moon picture just below the Puma logo. Rare stuff isn't it?

OK dudes, that's all for the mid-September 2007 updates. See you next time!
