Kuala Lumpur in Burnout Dominator - and what should be featured

Holidays are good days to do whatever you want and it has been a long time since we get our hands our beloved PS2s. Although the burnout dominator has been released for sooo long, we haven't played it yet. Maybe due to our motto "Get A Life". Straight to the point, what really makes us proud is, Kuala Lumpur is featured here, under a location called Spiritual Tower which got something to do with Petronas Twin Towers.

Graphics have been bought to the next level. We do not need PS3 if all the games look like this. The crashing are awesome, and we really like the bullet thingy and the ability to destroy our car in case it got whacked.

What really disappointed us is the lack of KL daily elements. Floods, traffic jams and mat rempits. We should put mat rempits instead of cars or more mat rempits. Players will be tested on how well they can coop with hundreds of rempits around them, take emergency lanes when encounter traffic jams or even kick the opponent cars' butts into the SMART tunnel filled with flood waters, and ended up somewhere in the lake. Then surely it will be more havoc than before. Cars and lorries and too boring.

Nevertheless, we hope, with new technologies or game engines, all these can make our dreams come true.

Ipoh Mali By Point Blanc

When we heard about "Ipoh Mali" song (before the official video was released in youtube), we thought it would be just another new typically okay local music. And then somewhere around 2 months ago, someone informed us about the video in youtube and we say oh~okay, we will give it a try since youtube does not cost us anything and we want to make full use of our unlimited bandwidth broadband. We watched and we were stunned for its quality and originality. With collaboration with Jaclyn Victor from Malaysia Idol, Joe Ipoh of Huyo Skateboards, friends etc, this music video is totally awesome, u gotta watch it, seriously.

Hearing "Ipoh Mali, Ipoh Ipoh Mali" reminds us of Akon's Mr Lonely. Nevertheless, we can say, the Ipoh Mali song is one of its kind and the orang Ipohs now can have their own song that they can be proud of. Here's the lyrics : http://www.mp3lyrics.org/p/point-blanc/ipoh-mali/

Here is the good news, the hip hop album will be released on 26 June 2007 for RM19.90! The album is trilangual (Malay, English and Chinese), containing14 songs and 26 tracks released by Voyeur Record in collaboration with Warner Music Malaysia.

Thumbs up for Point Blanc of Poetic Ammo!

First Umusu Blog Post And First Malaysia Skate Video (DVD)

Hola to all! This is the first umusu.blogspot.com post and we are all psychotically happy. blog@umusu.com main mission is to share and inform you guys all the happening things around the world. From opinions to Moore's Law. If you got something cool and just 2 minutes outdated, feel free to tell us at info [at] umusu [dot] com

Since this is our first post, we want to share the joy with the first Malaysia Skate Video, called Panorama. All the sifus and otais in Malaysia's skateboarding are feature in here such as Amcher, Fuad and Usher. Picture above is the promotional poster. Heard it took 3-4 years in the making. Thus we can say that the quality should be superb! Even Hollywood movies do not take that long to get produced. The video was launched on 22 june 2007 at KLPAC, Sentul Park, Kuala Lumpur. Ticket price is RM5.

Look at those crowds. We can conclude here that the show was a success. From here, we can see that Malaysian skaters are taking skateboarding seriously. It is a real deal and a professional job. Not just an extreme sport for free time.

To those who could not make yourself to KL, fear not. They do sell the DVDs, bunch of em. Message yer friend to get yourself one and do not pirate them okie?

Anyway, congratulations to our skateboarders who work hard to live up the scene and their efforts to bring up our own skateboarding video. Congratz again!
